Tuesdays and Wednesdays are my least favorite days becuase they’re running days. I work out four times a week; Tuesdays and Wednesdays are the days I get on the treadmill and run. I have a love/hate relationship with running. This is mainly because some of my most embarrassing childhood memories are me not being able to run fast enough. Still, I’ve always wanted to be that girl at the gym sweating her ass off on the treadmill and now I am. Though, I’m not running very fast.
The only thing that gets me through these workouts, besides the grace of God, is this kick-ass playlist. If I’m doing anything else at the gym, I put my music on shuffle and accept what comes my way, but when I’m running, it’s this playlist or nothing.
I’ve found it works while doing other mundane tasks too. Cleaning my apartment, doing my hair, etc. Sometimes, you’ve just got to remind yourself that you are a #girlboss, the poo, that n*gga and you will get through whatever is in front of you.
